Dallas Pets Alive! (DPA) is a volunteer-run organization providing resources, education, and programs needed to eliminate the killing of companion animals in North Texas. Since 2012, DPA has focused on rescuing healthy and treatable pets in North Texas at the greatest risk of being euthanized; reducing owner surrender through our Positive Alternatives to Shelter Surrender (PASS) program; and opening shelter kennel space by transporting pets to partners throughout the country in need of adoptable animals.

We believe in an innovative approach to saving animals and helping our community rethink how it views animal rescue. Adoption is not only the right thing to do but THE thing to do.
