Newly renovated St. George Temple reflects historical values

ST. GEORGE, Utah (9/6/2023) – After being closed for renovation since November of 2019, The St. George Utah Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints is ready for tours.
The St. George Temple is the first temple in Utah and in the western United States and was completed just four months before the second Prophet and President of the Church Brigham Young passed away.
The media was given a first look after the major renovation of the historic structure since it was constructed in 1877.
A public open house begins on Friday, September 15, and continues until Saturday, November 11, excluding Sundays and Saturday, September 30 due to general conference.
Reservations for free tours can be scheduled scheduled online. from 8 am until 8 p.m.
