THIS IS WHY IT'S SO IMPORTANT TO HAVE YOUR AIR CONDITIONERS CLEANED BY REPUTABLE PROFESSIONALS

📍 Recently we saw yet another rave review on a Facebook Group about an independent AC Cleaning provider that has been in the AC Cleaning business for close to 10 years...and his 'company' has been operating all that time with equipment that is not suitable for the requirements of the job, and taking advantage of unsuspecting customers who assume that their ACs have been cleaned.

The quality of this service provider’s cleaning work is actually typical of many AC cleaning contractors in Hong Kong (and after you watch the video, that will come as a shock!) and this clip provides a crystal clear insight into what's left hiding within your AC systems when they're not cleaned by a professional company with integrity and that demands the highest of standards throughout the organization.

In making this video, it’s not our intention to damage the reputation of the other service provider – hence why we haven’t, and would never, disclose this information.

We don’t view any other HVAC contractor and/or company as our ‘competition’ – our only competitor is our very own selves, as we strive every day to raise the bar and continuously improve and refine our services.

We imagine a world where all HVAC contractors are doing the work as thoroughly as we do – because that is a world that has integrity, because that’s what clients are paying for and assuming that they’re getting.

When we saw the Before & After photos that the reviewer had posted, it was readily apparent that their ACs were still heavily laden with all manner of mold, algae, and other microbial contaminants.

We also noted that it was readily apparent that the drainage pans of the ACs had not been removed for proper cleaning (otherwise obviously there would be filthy Before photos of the drainage pans as well – as those make for even more dramatic photos than the moldy fan barrels).

Over the past 4+ years, we’ve frequently been contacted to clean the ACs of previous clients of this service provider, so even if there was an absence of Before & After photos in the reviewers Facebook post, we still knew that the drainage pans had not been removed for proper cleaning.

We simply could not sit by and do nothing for two primary reasons:

✅ We couldn’t bear the thought of yet another 𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝒘𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒚 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒄𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒏 𝑨𝑪𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒊𝒏 𝒇𝒂𝒄𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒖𝒏𝒂𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒚 𝒅𝒊𝒓𝒕𝒚.

So we reached out to the reviewer and we offered to properly clean those same two ACs free of charge on Sunday 30th April (just 3 days after they had been ‘cleaned’ by the other service provider) and informed them of our intention to produce this video. We also stressed to the client that we wish for them to keep this experience strictly confidential, and asked them not to remove their review on Facebook. The other service provider is well loved in the community, delivers excellent customer service, and we trust that this will serve as a catalyst to upgrade their operating equipment, as well as to take steps to provide more thorough cleaning.
