Fulwood House was up until two years ago the headquarters of Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust (now called Sheffield Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust).
The reason for my interest in this building is because it has a few personal connections for me. Firstly my mother used to work here as a cleaner in the 1980s. Then later in 1997, I worked here as a temp for six months, data processing. Then in 2018 I began working for Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust as a registered mental health nurse. And this is where we did all our training.
It's not only interesting for me to see it as it is now, but also how the site will change over time. It's more of a memento for me, but I considered that it might also be of interest to some people out there who also have a personal connection with it.
