Today we touch upon tensions over North Korea's growing military cooperation with Russia and its presence on the battlefield against Ukraine.

1) Dasl, you recently wrote about a mystery North Korean general dispatched by Kim Jong-un to lead his soldiers against Ukraine.
So who is this man, and what does his presence indicate?

2) Dasl, the Wall Street Journal also last week reported that a senior North Korean officer had been hurt in an Ukrainian assault.
Are we speaking about the same general that you covered?
I mean, what has been shared thus far about this wounded general, and why is this information important?

3) Steven, also on the battlefield last week, after denying Ukraine's allegation of launching an intercontinental ballistic missile, Russia claimed it tested a new
intermediate-range ballistic missile at Ukraine.
First, for the sake of laypeople including me, what is the difference between an ICBM and an IRBM or a hypersonic missile?

4) Steven, some analysts have drawn attention to Mr. Putin's use of a strategic weapon to hit a target in eastern Ukraine that could have been struck with a less sophisticated weapon.
They believe he was sending a warning to NATO members amid President Biden's approval for the use of ATACMS by Ukraine against Russia.
What are your thoughts?

5) Dasl, there has been much talk about President Biden's decision to allow Ukraine to use these American longer-range missiles.
How has the White House explained it, and what are pundits saying?

6) Steven, how does the Biden administration's latest move look to affect the incoming Trump administration's policy on the war in Ukraine?

7) Dasl, ever since the re-election of Mr. Trump, I've been asking a number of pundits and members of the media about their prospects regarding potential dialogue between North Korea and the U.S.
Well, late last week, Kim Jong-un dashed hopes of any such interaction.
What exactly did he say, and what do you suppose are his intentions?

8) Steven, South Korea, for its part, has been using multilateral platforms to rally global support against North Korea's military cooperation with Russia.
How do you assess these efforts?

9) Dasl, Russia has revised its nuclear doctrine, allowing it to use its atomic arsenal even against a conventional attack if the attack is backed by a nuclear power.
What are pundits saying about the prospects of a nuclear war?

10) Steven, according to BBC News, satellite images reportedly show Russia supplying North Korea with crucial oil in blatant violation of UN Security Council resolutions, which in turn, raises questions about the effectiveness of this security framework.
India has been calling for urgent reform of the UNSC.
