How to compare two documents in Word

Описание к видео How to compare two documents in Word

In this video I show how to use the compare feature in Microsoft Word to compare two documents. In this example I compare two versions of the same computer modelling code the original document and then one I have edited.

This feature in Word can be used to find out any changes or differences between any two documents.
Review Tab - Compare - Compare two versions of a document (legal blackline).

This tool will keep the original versions of both the documents and will create a third document called the Compared Document. In the Compared Document any changes will be converted into red text, anything that has been added will be underlined and anything that has been deleted will have a line going through it.

You can also select whether you want to see the Reviewing Pane and whether you want to see copies of the original and revised documents.
