Hello, everyone. This is Jeffrey Smith, founder of the Institute for Responsible Technology, and this is Day Two of Healing From GMOs. In the first presentation, Carey Gillam explained how Monsanto hid the health dangers of RoundUp herbicide and the active ingredient glyphosate, which the World Health Organization has declared a probable human carcinogen. So you have in mind to repair the damage done by RoundUp. Now RoundUp has a long Litany of things it's a probable carcinogen...it's linked to birth defects, etc.
...what we found was...glyohpsate was designed to kill all organisms in an environment that are not genetically modified. And when the residue of glyphosate is in food and we eat that food it will actually kill the organisms in our body as well. An unintended consequence but a dire and potentially deadly consequence. Now lets follow it through the esophagus, through the stomach now into something we call the second brain, which is the gut microbiome...
...OK, so, the antibiotic nature, it was patented as a biocide, basically an antibiotic...
