Worth the hype ✅
1) Lempuyang Temple (Gates of Heaven)
Yes, it’s touristy and you’ll likely queue for a long time, but the view of Mount Agung framed by ancient temple gates is truly iconic and spiritual.

2) ATV Ride through the jungles and rice field
Alasan Adventures Ubud - A thrilling and muddy adventure through lush Bali landscapes.

3) Ulun Danu Beratan Temple
Floating on a serene lake with a backdrop of the mountains, the temple is photogenic and peaceful, specially if you arrive early.

4) Kecak Fire Dance at Uluwatu Temple
Sunset over a cliff-top temple, dramatic chanting and fire - this Traditional dance is immersive and cinematic

5) Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK Cultural Park)
The sheer scale of the statue makes this park impressive and good for a peaceful walk

Not worth the hype ❌
1) Tagalalang Rice terraces and swings
Overcrowded, commercial, overpriced. You’ll find prettier and more authentic rice fields in less touristic areas like Cretya or Jatiluwih

2) Ubud Monkey Forest
Unless you love monkeys stealing sunglasses and climbing on you, it’s more chaotic than charming.

3) Mount Batur sunrise jeep tour
Jeeps dont go to the actual summit where hikers get to go for the best views. Traffic jam at 4am and too many jeeps all around, ruining the peace and the view. Instead, hike towards the top for the best view and peaceful experience.
