SANDRA BULLOCK'S 911 CALL RELEASED
The Los Angeles Superior Court released audio Friday of a 911 call Sandra Bullock made in June of 2014.
Bullock locked herself behind a security door in a closet when an intruder entered her home last summer.
The audio was played Thursday (9 APRIL 2014) in a court when a judge ruled that the intruder, Joshua James Corbett, must stand trial on stalking and weapons charges.
Evidence showed that Joshua James Corbett stalked the Oscar-winning actress, broke into her home and had an arsenal of illegal assault weapons, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Terry A. Bork ruled.
In the recording, Bullock breathes heavily and is obviously anxious as police are dispatched. She stays on the line for more than 15 minutes as police arrive and apprehend Corbett.
She sounds visibly relieved when police open her bedroom door. "Thank you so much, thank you," she sobs.
"It's what we're here for, mam," replies the dispatcher.
Corbett was clutching a black notebook with a two-page letter to Bullock and magazine photos of the actress when he was arrested.
