In this session, co-founder of Propiedata and full-stack developer Paulo Mogollon will mainly point out the path they took at Propiedata to begin scaling their platform for real-time votes and participation feedback. By starting with all subscriptions, moving to methods, then grapher, redis oplog, customizing these packages, and how they managed their scaling performance issues at each point of this path.

Currently, they handle 5,000 concurrent users who require real-time data for poll charts and quorum management, which is not huge. However, it might help others understand that it's possible to scale and what quirks can make some projects not scale correctly in the early stages.
