6.5m SCOW Sail Boat Multi Chine Hull for Low Cost Marine Plywood Epoxy construction Architecture & Design Andrei Rochian

I designed this version of the 6.5m scow sail boat to be buildable at the amateur level of skills and at low cost with a multi chine hull
The hull shell (sides ; bottom and transom ) is built from 8 flat panel components that are cut with the CNC from marine plywood
The plywood parts are assembled on a wooden jig and covered in biaxial fiberglass cloth impregnated with epoxy resin
The deck and cabin is in a similar way built from flat stitch and glue assembling of marine plywood panel parts cut with the CNC
The boat has a lifting keel I design the lifting system to be mechanical so that the keel can be lifted by hand and building the boat wont require the hyderaulic lifting system wich is more expensive
So the sail boat is beacheable on sandy beaches ( Noting and keeping in mind that the beaching can only be done safely at very low speed and only on sand shores where there are no rocks on the sea bottom)

The same process can be deployed to build the scow sail yacht in flat panel cabon laminated or in flat panel fiberglass laminate

The carbon epoxy laminate is made on a marble in flat panel. Then the hull components are cut with the CNC from carbon ( or fiberglass) flat panel and assembled on the MDF jig.

The bulkheads and Hull framing are bonded to the hull inside with fiberglass trusses impregnated with epoxy

With the emergence of today Robotic CNC Routers like GOLIATH ROBOT CNC ROUTER the scow sail yacht design with Multi Chine Hull may be built at Low Cost in Marine Plywood Epoxy construction

Alternatively the 6.5m Scow with Multi Chine Hull Can be built in Aluminium Construction or in Carbon Sandwich
