What transpired on a beautiful day, at a larger-than-life palace in Pakistan, is a sartorial gaze on classicism and craft. As the celebrity couple plays prince and princess in their kingdom set in the year 1554, a royal story unfolds.
Lajwanti’s latest collection is a royal salute to the bygone regal era via decadent couture, a result of four months of planning and 900 hours of handwork per ensemble. Each bridal and grooms wear outfit, from heirloom-worthy lehengas to statement-making sherwanis, is a masterpiece in itself.
