UPDATE: It's been confirmed by an Eidos insider that it's indeed the continuation of the ending. It was cut because it made no sense whatsoever, as Lara and Amanda decided to let things as they were instead of killing each other.

After a lot of discussion, we think that it's actually what happens after ending, when Lara and Amanda arrive at Nepal, so I decided to put the ending and the deleted one together, and they fit very well.
