The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe for PS2 is a third-person action-adventure game based on the 2005 film adaptation of C.S. Lewis's classic novel. Players control the four Pevensie sibling: Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy, each possessing unique abilities: Peter excels in melee combat and can melt ice barriers, Susan utilizes ranged attacks with snowballs and arrows, Edmund is agile, capable of climbing and navigating delicate surfaces, Lucy is small, allowing her to access tight spaces and charm animals.

The game features a cooperative gameplay system where players can switch between characters or team up for combo attacks, such as Peter swinging Edmund to break obstacles. Collecting coins throughout the game allows players to purchase new abilities and upgrades, enhancing each character's skills.
