A child was rescued after walking onto the tracks of the Hersheypark Monorail, according to a park spokesperson.

The spokesperson said the child was originally reported missing on Saturday around 5:05 p.m. after he was separated from his parents.

During that time, officials said the boy entered a secured area for the Monorail, which was not in service.
