Yes, you saw that correctly. I was equally surprised to see that an artic running Route 46 was a legitimate thing that happened, and I am happy to have caught it just before it was replaced with a more conventional bus. Driver took it real slow here, probably a regular Route 46 driver taken by complete surprise that he was assigned an artic for his run.

Route 46 is a frequent urban route between Kapolei Commons and U.H. West O'ahu Transit Center. Currently, it is the only frequent urban route that operates completely outside the Honolulu area, as well as the shortest of these routes by distance. Although, at only 10 minutes between buses, it is one of the most frequent routes in the system, standard for the frequent urban routes.
