In this lesson, Mike Malaska continues working with Jimmy Pearcy to refine his swing by teaching him to feel and use the weight, momentum, and natural mechanics of the club. The session starts with drills designed to help Jimmy loosen up and understand how the club’s weight influences the swing. Mike has Jimmy turn the club around and hold it by the grip end, swinging lightly to experience how the club’s weight naturally causes the wrists to hinge, unhinge, and rehinge. This drill is critical for reducing tension in Jimmy’s grip and arms and for improving his ability to let the club move freely.
