Afternoon parade by the massed pipes and drums of Aberdeenshire, Scotland during Ballater Highland Games in Royal Deeside, in August 2018. The parade is led by leading Drum Major Ian Esson, with Drum Majors Bert Summers, Bill Barclay, Derek Dean, Ronnie Renny, Roland Stewart, Robert Brownfield and Fiona Glennie leading the massed pipe bands.

As the bands finish, members of the Games Committee had secretly arranged a wee surprise for one of the committee members, who was celebrating his 50th Birthday during the games. The master of the flourish with the mace at the beginning is Drum Major Bill Barclay.

The bands present were Ballater & District Pipe Band, Towie Pipe Band, Ellon & District RBL Pipe Band, Kintore Pipe Band, Culter 47th Boys Brigade Pipe Band, Dalhousie Pipe Band from Switzerland and additional members from Dufftown & District Pipe Band and the Royal Regiment of Scotland.
