Binder, Plánička and Bican are three timeless legends of world football. All three were born under the same flag, the flag of Austria-Hungary. Binder was born in Sankt Pölten (present-day Austria), Plánička was born in Prague (present-day Czechia) and Binder was born in Vienna (present-day Austria). Plánička always defended Czechoslovakia. Binder played for Austria until 1938. With the Austrian Anschluß took place with the annexation of Austria by Nazi Germany, Binder started to play for Germany. With the end of the Second World War he returned to play for Austria. Bican, like Binder, played for the Austrian WunderTeam until 1936, however, when Anschluß happened he chose to play for Czechoslovakia. In 1939 he played for Bohemia & Moravia in a 4-goal draw against Germany, scoring 3 of his team's 4 goals.
