Natomiast amatorzy nieco nowszej historii powinni wybrać się do pałacu Achillion w okolicy wioski Gastouri. Należał do cesarzowej Sisi, a potem też do cesarza Wilhelma II. Turyści pomijają często piękny, kamienny most Kaiser Bridge, który z dolnych ogrodów Achillionu prowadził nad drogą na plażę.
