Stopping a hapi server in production is a no go. You don't want to interrupt requests coming from users.

Use hapi’s “server.stop()” method to close existing connections properly. Pass an options object to increase the timeout that hapi waits for existing requests to close before forcefully exiting the process. This timeout is interesting for downloads or long running tasks.
