In Islam, following the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is crucial, and anything outside of that is considered deviation.

The consequences of Bid'ah are severe because it can distort the pure message of Islam and lead people away from the path of righteousness. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) warned against introducing innovations in the religion, as they can undermine the true message of Islam. We must strive to follow the Quran and the authentic Hadith and avoid introducing anything that was not part of the original practice."
