Boreen Point is a sleepy little township on Queensland's largest natural saltwater lake - Lake Cootharaba - and just 30 minutes north of Noosa on the Sunshine Coast. It's perfect for sailing, kayaking and spotting native wildlife including kangaroos and birds.

Boreen Point also has a great Aussie Pub - The Apollonian Hotel. This old colonial hotel is a unique example of nineteenth-century Queensland architecture and a perfect place for us to have lunch! This was our first time to Booren Point and we loved it 🤗

After a great day out, we stop into the small town of Pomona and have a delicious coffee at Pomona Village Kitchen.

Hi, we're Beth & Paul from Brisbane, Australia and we love to travel!

Paul retired on 28th February 2020 and on the 1st March 2020, we set out on a 6-month adventure around South East Asia. This was a well-planned once-in-a-lifetime travel experience! It was our intention to show you how you can have a great time travelling without spending a fortune.

Our timing wasn't great - with the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus and subsequent global turmoil less than a month into our trip.

Until it is safe to travel internationally again, we turn our focus on travelling around Australia and sharing everything our beautiful country has to offer!
