I finally signed up for a crypto.com Visa card! I staked $500 CAD on the CRO coin for a minimum of 6 months in order to sign up for the Ruby Card, which is one of the lower tiers offered by crypto.com. Since the card came in the mail, I decided to do an unboxing for you guys and showcase the experience of receiving one of these cards.

In this video, we discuss in full the matter of "crypto credit card how does it work", as well as showcasing a full crypto credit card unboxing of the crypto.com ruby card, as well as a full crypto credit card comparison between all the different tiers offered by crypto.com visa card Canada, and all other countries available. All in all, this will be a comprehensive crypto credit card review, along side the unboxing.

The Ruby card, which is the crypto Visa card that I signed up for, requires a staking of $400 USD, or $500 CAD into the CRO coin. This means that you must buy $500 CAD worth of the CRO coin and commit to a 6 month period of not selling those coins. I was originally interested in the Royal Indigo card instead of the Ruby card, which requires a staking of $5000 CAD; however, due to the recent volatility in the crypto sphere, I decided to go with the less risky option and settle for the Ruby card for now, and use this card as a sort of a trial period in order to see what the crypto.com credit card experience is like.

With this crypto credit card Canada wide, you get benefits such as 100% cash back on your Spotify membership, as well as 1% cash back on everything else. The Royal Indigo tier, offers 2% cash back on everything, as well as 100% back on your Spotify and Netflix membership, as well as Airport Lounge access. Clearly the Royal Indigo card is a much better offering and worth the upgrade, which I will look into doing in the future.

For now, beyond using this card for a crypto.com credit card review on my channel, I intend to experience owning a crypto.com Visa card and report on the highs and lows of the experience. The quality of the customer service, as well as the delay or lack there of in receiving your cash backs are the biggest question marks for me, and I hope that this crypto.com Visa card comes out ahead in both categories.
