Sketching Plein Air at Sunset

Sketching plein air at sunset with casein paints at Godrevy beach.

I thought it would be nice to return to Godrevy beach for a plein air sketch at sunset using casein paints. It was a calm and mild October early evening. Basil was with us again and enjoyed himself playing on the sand.

I used a limited palette of Cadmium Red, Yellow Ochre, Ivory Black and Titanium White. My Seawhite A4 sketchbook has smooth 160gsm paper which I find works very well with the casein opaque paint.
