Pure Hillclimb Sounds | Giants Despair Pa, Hillclimb 22

Описание к видео Pure Hillclimb Sounds | Giants Despair Pa, Hillclimb 22

No music, no narration, just the sounds of the Giants Despair Hillclimb. It was established in 1906 in Laurel Run, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, just southeast of Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
Its a 1 mile long section of road rising 650 feet (200 m), the course reaches grades up to 20% and has six turns, including the 110 degree "Devil's Elbow", which is the top section that I filmed.

The contest was first run in conjunction with Wilkes-Barre's centennial celebration. It is the oldest continuing motorsport event in Pennsylvania and has had the likes of Carol Shelby, Roger Penske run on it to name a few.
