IXS Downhill cup Bellwald || Full practice run!

Bellwald….🇨🇭Shit, what can I say??? 🤯 From being P2 in Qualifying to being transported in a helicopter and lay in Hospital a day later ☹️ High highs and low lows i guess 🚲

Trained my ass off to be fit for this race and it was really working out for me. I haven’t been this comfortable and fast on my bike since my crash 2 years ago and i could show my pace again. Just chilled qualifying and even became 2nd allready! This was the best feeling ever😍🤯 I had so much more to give for my final run, but just one slippery rock in my last practice run made me slip and land f*cking unlucky on my shoulder. Dislocated my shoulder and torn a ligament, rehab here we go again…..🫨🥺 After p2 in qualifying i was convinced to try and step it up back into the Elite category next year. Also after reviewing this footage from pactice sunday morning and comparing this time to the finals time in my categorie i was really on podium pace….

So much emotions and a lot of mixed feelings about this weekend. It felt so good to be in the mountains again and next to the crash I had the best weekend ever! Just stupid to let work, myself and the people around me down and the whole rehabilitation needs to start again….🫠
