Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a e-track cam buckle strap. The heavy duty tie down strap lets you easily secure your cargo. The spring loaded fittings on the strap ends easily snap into e-track anchor slots. E-track systems are sold separately and available at e-trailer.com. The cam buckle mechanism makes it easy to tighten down the strap and maintain tension on the strap, that way you can easily secure your cargo.The cam buckle and e-track fittings feature steel construction and it has protective finishing to keep them safe from rust and corrosion. And then the strap is a durable polyester webbing.

Now to operate this cam buckle unit, it's very quick and easy. So basically what you need to do is you can always pull the slack out, that way you can tighten your load. But you cannot pull it out the other way to loosen until you press the large release lever. So that's how you release your tension. So to apply tension, you grab on the excess strap, and you tighten it around your cargo.

To release tension, press on the release lever, pull on the portion of the strap that's connected to the e-track fitting, and that's all there is to it.So it's a nice easy to use design, it has multiple teeth right here on the bottom of that buckle portion. Those teeth grip the strap and prevent it from back feeding. So it's very nice, very easy to use, very easy to manage as well.Now when it comes to the strap dimensions, the strap measures 2 inches wide by 16 feet long, so we have 12 feet of length on the ratchet end, and then 4 feet of length on the lead end. This strap features a safe working load limit of 835 pounds, and a maximum load or break strength of 2500 pounds. Just always keep in mind that tie down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit, so the weight of your secured cargo must not exceed the combined working load limit of the straps being used.And that's gonna do it for today's look at the e-track cam buckle strap..
