I feel like 2021 was the year of the city or town builder with so many cool titles coming out, and this year, I get the inkling that farming games evolving out of that harvest moon/ stardew valley kind of genre is going to be huge. This title looks like it could be one of the best of the bunch. There might be a bit of wait here though as the game is still to come to Kickstarter, but given it's support on steam I recon it's going to hit a few targets pretty easily. You're a suit, but not anymore. Welcome to the ranching life. Get your boots dirty!

The Ranchers is another game that looks to take the best of all worlds. Giving players greater choice in terms of how they want to develop their story here, and just being downright ambitious in trying and put together a game that could just be epic. In the trailer we see little hints of influences, such as social parties and interactions that you might find in a game like the sims, but then in the next instance we have some pretty cool looking dungeons and monsters that makes you realise that this is not just a 3D copy of games we've played many times before.

The Ranchers is that game that takes a lot of "what ifs" and puts them together into one title. What if I could build my own house in a farming social sim. What if I could get a bunch of different cars. What if I could hunt as well as farm. What if there were humongous looking evil creatures in our town. And I guess that big one, what if i can take a lovely lady up for a hot air balloon ride above the town. In a game that offers 4 player co-op, You can imagine how different people will be working on different elements of your ranch, and I'm really hoping there's a lot of replayability and options here in how you interact with your community.

I love everything we see in this short The Ranchers trailer and you can't help but be impressed if this is a game that can be pulled together and offer a level of depth in a game that shows so many different genres and game functions mixed together.
