People suffer in places where water is scarce or drought is a regular event. Not only agriculture is harmed, but the day to day life of individuals also gets affected. But this problem is easily solvable only on one condition - people in the community need to come together and work for a collective solution.

In this episode of Amrai Pari, we see how the people of Baldahar village re-excavate a pond by themselves so that they can reserve rain water which can be used for household or agricultural needs during periods of drought or scarce rain.

We also see village women work together to build an ‘improved cooking stove’ with the help of an expert. Three houses of that community adopted the technique to save costs from reduced fuel needs. It'll also help them prevent health problems from lowered emission of smoke while cooking.
