With a vision to position India as a preferred global destination for sustainable and responsible tourism, the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India has released a National Strategy for Sustainable Tourism.

Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM) has been appointed as Central Nodal Agency (CNA) by the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India for the promotion of Sustainable Tourism in India.
