""My personal journey with Earth, Wind and Fire began in 1975, when the album, “That’s the Way of the World” grooved me through the most difficult summer of my youth. Since then, I’ve had a Forrest Gump type connection to the greatest group on the planet! It’s mind blowing! I’m closing out this season of my award-winning series with the ladies take on these classic tunes, featuring my Sis-stars, Coco Brown (The Black Swan Singers), and Maui shining star, Shea Derrick."

The popular series "Sheryl Renee Salutes..." is a one-woman cabaret, written and produced by Sheryl Renee Productions, and staged (with the input of their incredible team) at the award-winning theater, ProArts Playhouse in Kihei, on the island of Maui. "I'm blessed to be honoring my favorites, and creating variety show style content for a packed house! Going live is seldom perfect, but here's video proof that I'm having a ball! The show is tracked and features a special guest each month. I'm wearing the hats of show creative, director, promotions-graphic designer & video editor, set and props design, stylist, musicians' liaison and dramaturg! On top of that, I'm memorizing lyrics! I like to share little known facts for the historical portion of the show, so I dig deep into sources - Google, Wikipedia, YouTube, the vast info on the world wide web and my own experiences and memories with these living and past gone legends."
