Kismoor is a very popular accompaniment which goes excellent with a typical Goan meal consisting of rice, fish curry, Rava Fish Fry, tonak, prawns sukhe etc
During rainy season when we don’t get fresh fish in Goa, we make Sukya Sungtachi Kismoor or Dry prawns kismoor. The name kismoor means mixture or to mix everything together. This recipe is also known as sungta kismuri an tastes tangy and spicy. Dry prawns is also known as galmo and this recipe is also known as Goan galmo recipe.

Ingredients for Dry Shrimp Kismoor
Dry prawns-(1 cup cleaned)
Onion-1 medium size
Grated coconut-1/2 shell (grated)
Green chillies-2 nos
Tamrind -1 tbs
Salt-as per Ur taste
Oil-1 tbs


Method
First clean the prawns as shown in the video and dry roast it ,next take a small kadai put oil once it gets heated up add finely chopped onion fry until translucent now add chopped green chilies grated coconut ,tamarind pieces ,salt and mix well on low flame for a minute and your dry prawns kismoor is ready.


Dry Shrimp Kismoor is ready
Have it with Ur meal

You can even use dry mackrel cut into small pieces but prawns tastes much better then fish.
