Isokale Elemi/Isokale Alore #Isokaleelemi, #staloreh #isokaleemi at New Ona Iwa Mimo Onimajemu Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Church Akure, Ondo State Nigeria. Ceremony marking the completion of a 9-Day Spiritual Journey/Trance.

The word TRANCE and going into Trance is part of Christian doctrines and practices that is grounded in the reading of Bible and inspired by a series of spiritual visions experienced by early members/founder (St. Moses Orimolade-Okejebu Tunolase-1879-1933) of white garment churches (Aladura) especially in Cherubim and Seraphim Church (The first indigenous church in Africa originated from the Western Nigeria, established in 1925).

A member of the Church who is gifted with the spirit to speak in tongues, visions and dreams is touched by the Holy Spirit and remains unconscious of his/her physical/worldly environment for a period that could span up to 90 days fasting without tasting anything.

During this period, the spiritualist (Alore or Elemi) is presented with Bible and Candle and he/she is supported in prayers by other spiritual members and Prophets/Prophetesses who pray for him or her on regular basis for a successful spiritual journey.

While in Trance, the ALORE or ELEMI recounts visions from angels and messages (Divine Revelations), prophetic warnings from the thrown of God.
