Faag is a traditional fair of himachal is celebrated every year in Rampur Bushahr at PADAM PALACE.
Faag mela celebrated every year in phalgun maas (march month), the very next day of holi festival
mela started after holi celebration. This mela celebrated at PADAM PALACE Rampur bsr. the ruling seat of Bushahr Riyast. 20-25 devi devtas invited on this auspicious day. The royal family of Bushahr Riyast welcome all devi devtas and pray them to betterment of people of Riyast. This mela is celebrated from ancient time, till now it is celebrated with same enery and enthusiasm. this mela having importance from cultural, Devotional and commercial purposes.
Main attraction of the mela is devi devtas dance and cultural hinachali dance (naati) of devotees.
Here we can see perfect blend of diff diff traditions specially from SHIMLA, KULLU, BUSHAHR and KINNAUR
Every year this mela is celebrated, 1000s of people came here and pay devotion to their gods....

A huge crowd came here and celebrate together, and no miss happening or violence seen..... this is remarkable and all should learn from this...
