Bolstered by the fear of missing out.
Promises need never be fulfilled
Strung along by diffidence and doubt.
Conditioned to chase and crave the instant gratification in all its wicked guilt.

Witnessing our empire's final breaths.
We've gone beyond what anyone could stand and find ourselves a catatonic mess.
A mental blight afflicting all of man that seeds a world our children fear to tread

Forestalled in our own ascension, by cloying, upscale abstractions. Absorbed in fictitious dimensions, our lives the marquee attraction.

We have become a commodity.
Our names and faces in bidding wars.
Our lives of grief and monotony are simply meat for the carnivores.

Salesmen bought you.
Failed men wrought you.
Ailments anew.
Frail men knocked us all askew.

Foreshadowed by decades on repeat by proud, vainglorious malcontent.
The doom of man is nigh, indeed, and we all bought our oculus.

Nekrowinter is an independent metal band hailing from Versailles, KY comprised of Donnie Helme, Andrew Anderson, Forrest Parrott, Justin Goff, and Austyn Fain.

We’ve been told that we sound like a blend of Cannibal Corpse and System of a Down. Ultimately, we just kind of do whatever we want, so you’ll probably never get a straight sub-genre out of us.
