I had planned to do the Sublime Point walking track, but shortly after setting of I found it was closed due to a landslip. I decided to drive to the southern end of Foothills Drive to follow Gibsons Walking Track. Misty rain fell most of the time and leeches were everywhere. I saw two species for the first time in the wild on this walk. A Gordian Worm or Horse-hair Worm, the species is unknown, they are part of the phylum Nematomorpha. Also I saw two Triboniophorus graeffei (Red Triangle Slug) on two different occasions.
