Journey with Avanti West Coast from London to Manchester, this time onboard a refurbished 390 (390045 Birmingham Pride), via Crewe, in first class and also with it being dark outside! It was the 1H61 0629 from London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly calling at Milton Keynes Central, Stafford, Crewe, Wilmslow, Stockport and Manchester Piccadilly. I also saw 390119 at Stafford as the 1S39 from Birmingham New Street to Glasgow Central. 390045 also had the "Trainbow" on Coaches A and K during the Virgin Trains days.
