This is the long anticipated Cathay Pacific First Class Review !
I have been flying Cathay for almost a decade now and First Class is the last cabin for me to unlock :)
On June,9th,2018, I was flying from New York JFK to Hong Kong via Vancouver on Cathay Pacific’s flight CX889. This is one of the four flights between JFK and Hong Kong operated by Cathay, it has a stopover at Vancouver to refuel and to load more passengers. This flight is also one of the six fifth freedom flights that Cathay offers (TPE-NRT, TPE-ICN, TPE-NGO, TPE-KIX, BKK-SIN,JFK-YVR) The reason I chose this flight is for its unbeatable departure and arrival time (leaving JFK @0955PM and arriving HKG @0710AM).
