This is an LED panel. When I connected its two wires directly to the terminals of a 3.7 Volt battery, the panel lit up immediately.

Next, I cut one of the wires to turn it off, then stripped the insulation from both ends, and applied a bit of solder to prepare them for a new connection.

Now comes the interesting part, I soldered a reed switch between the two ends of the cut wire.

When I bring a magnet close to the reed switch, it closes the circuit, and the LED panel lights up again!

This is a simple and cool way to control a light using a magnetic switch.
