Subaru Forester STI Freshen Up JDM | EP1: First Clean & Paintwork (FILTHY, DIRTY & DAMAGED PAINT)

Welcome to the first in a series of videos where i will detail the steps i take to freshen up and breathe new life back into this 2001 Subaru Forester STI (SF5).

This Japanese legend is absolutely filthy and needs a few small jobs doing, but overall is as straight as a die and almost completely factory original.

In this first episode i clean of layers of road dirt and bring her into the workshop to tackle the damaged paintwork on the drivers side roof rail. When a replacement pair of wind deflectors can’t be sourced i end up having to remove the passenger’s side deflector to match, but this doubles the paintwork required!
