Kim Jong Kook finished Master’s Degree. Not only is Kim Jong Kook a great singer but he is also admired by many for his very good educational background. He finished his Master’s Degree from Pop Culture Performing Arts- School of Arts Department. It is also said that in his early education, Kim Jong Kook has been a model student and a leader type since early age.
He is a boxer once and also great in Soccer. Kim Jong Kook, being Mr. Muscle himself became boxer before and started lifting weights to achieve teh body he has today. He also loves soccer and became part of Shootdori, a South Korean TV Show but he had to leave for his military service. He can play football well. He joined Asian Dream with Park Ji Sung. He also became a football coach in Shootdori. His soccer skill is outstanding, Jung Dae Sae (North Korean footballer) even praised his performance in Asian Dream Charity
Kim Jong Kook is a 3 Daesang Winner. 2005 has been the greatest year for Kim Jong Kook as he won not just 1 but 3 Daesang from three of South Korea’s top stations, SBS, KBS and MBC. Daesang is the “Artist of the Year” and he became the only second artist to do this aside from Jo Yong Phil in 1980s.
Kim Jong Kook have already served his Military Service. On 2006, at the height of his career, Kim Jong Kook received his mandatory military service letter. He served for two years and on 2008 released an album that became a great comeback for him. His songs “Today More than Yesterday” and “Thank You” became two of his popular hits during that time proving he still has a spot in the music industry of South Korea. He proved ‘tradition’ of not being able to rise once again after military service false. He made a successful comeback. He got his new variety show not long after he released from his service and also his album was success. He got awards for his works right after his comeback. He looks sexy wearing army uniform.
