"April Come She Will" on an Iris RCM-000 | The Music Emporium

The Iris Guitar Company brings a small-bodied 12-fret to their slate with the RCM-000 (named for Iris production manager, Christian McAdams). This is a featherweight guitar with a big-bodied sound and quick response. We've ordered our spin on the model with Mahogany back & sides, Adirondack Spruce top, Sunburst finish, and slotted headstock. The tone is dry, crisp, and punchy, with plenty of low end and fullness whether you strum, flatpick, fingerpick or mix and match. A very impressive guitar from our friends up in Vermont!

The audio was recorded with our Samar microphones: a VL37A ribbon on the guitar and a TF10 condenser on the voice. We use a ‪@UniversalAudio‬ "Volt" interface to capture the signal. No other EQ or processing is added.
