Syntakt/Digitakt: Create Generative IDM Beats by Understanding Trig Conditions!

In this Syntakt Tutorial I want to share with you a fun technique for creating IDM/Breakcore/Drum and Bass beats with Elektron Syntakt or Digitakt. We will focus mostly on trig conditions, which are a super useful tool for adding variation, surprise, excitement and energy to your beats, preventing them from sounding too generic. The beat will be created from scratch, starting with a very basic kick and snare pattern. It will gradually be enhanced through random notes and actions, creating a quite complex and generative drum pattern.

While I'm using Syntakt you can just as well use Digitakt, since Trig Conditions are available to both instruments and can be used with any sound or sample.
