Here in this video series you will watch how a brushless dc ceiling fan or
bldc motor works and how it's wind. BLDC motors are very common now a days.
They are frequently used as 12v DC ceiling fan. BLDC are actually three

phase motors with magnetic rings in them. these motor are run using an

inverter. inverter boards are used to run these motors. AC DC ceiling fan winding is simple. Any winding person can rewind very easily an AC DC ceiling fan. For ac dc fan the main item is the inverter board which providing 3 phase pulsating DC power to AC DC ceiling fan motor winding through which the motor runs smoothly. There are are double mosfets in the ac DC cieling fan motor driver inverter circuit which are sometime going defective. Shorted mosfet is the very common fault normally seen in the ac dc seling fan driver boards. AC DC ceiling fan motors winding normally is not going defective due to very low voltage in the system which is pulsating 12V. Also the current is controlled due to system impedance. Normally such AC DC fans are taking as low current as 3.3A at 12V. The low system voltage increases the fan winding life. Due to low voltage of 12V the fan winding never goes breakdown. Another feature of AC DC fan is it is running very cool and not producing big heat like a regular AC ceiling fan is producing. Due to cool running the fan life increases and also it converse electricity of electrical energy. As now a days electricity prices are increased too much, it's a must to consider efficient equipment which utilizes electrical power in an efficient manner.
