1978 Mercury Marquis For Sale Junkyard Find. $2495. I'd drive it.

The junkyard brought in another classic to try and save. I don't blame them as this 1978 Mercury Marquis looks to be a very nice survivor. The main issue I found with it from quickly looking it over was the deteriorating vinyl top. And luckily it appears as though the roof was not really affected. The interior looked/smelled nice and clean. The only issue I noticed was the cracks on the dash pad which is not uncommon. Underneath it looked free of serious rust. Under the hood was also clean with the Ford 400 engine looking like it could probably crank right up. Unfortunately i couldn't look in the trunk but i suspect that its just like the rest of the car. All in all i have to say I like this car and would happily drive it. But what do you all think of the asking price? Is $2495 a good number for this one?
