How the Glucose Oxidase Promotes Animal Performance

Описание к видео How the Glucose Oxidase Promotes Animal Performance

With the development of the animal husbandry industry, there has been increasing research on functional enzymes, which one of them was used as an alternative to antibiotic growth promotors (AGPs). AGP abuse has increased the potential transmission risk of antimicrobial resistant genes in bacteria, which might fail present therapeutic antibiotics to treat bacterial diseases.

Thus, it is imperative that we find a way to replace AGPs while maintaining animal performance. Our first patented commercial enzyme product - glucose oxidase (GOD) can replace AGPs. We have greatly improved the performance of GOD and our GOD enzyme is already used in animal feed as a substitute for AGPs, to help relieve heat stress in laying hens, improve the digestibility of nutrients and promote animal performance.
