Street-side Musician playing Ektara by Sandeep Silas!

Ektara is a beautiful single-string instrument played mostly by musicians from Rajasthan. Often, in Rajasthan you will hear this sweet sounds emanating from the Ektara which a musician is playing.

This one I found in Shimla on the Lakkar Bazaar side. I have deliberately featured him to through a spotlight upon unknown and street-side musicians who are fighting for their livelihood. Their pride prevents them from begging, but they really survive on the money people put in their basket.
