"Steddy Ambition": Stedman Bailey's Journey Back to the NFL

On Nov. 24, 2015, NFL wide receiver Stedman Bailey was shot twice in the head as he and his cousin waited in a car outside of a friend's house in South Florida. A short time later, he is already back in the gym working to get himself in shape for a chance to return to the NFL and to the game he loves.

Stedman and I spent two days together in late January, during which time I followed his progress physically, emotionally and spiritually. He is determined to get back on the field no matter how tall the odds are stacked against him in that effort.
