Using the Vignette tool you’ll darken or lighten the corners of a photo for a creative aged effect. Also, this option allows you to draw attention to the centre of the image.

To do that, just open your photo in PhotoWorks and click the Vignetting button in the Composition tab. The Vignette tool is absolutely easy to use - change the effect setting by dragging the sliders in and out till you’re happy with the result.
